Orange Whisky Sour Cocktail with Cherries

Whiskey Sour took up a notch with the addition of orange and muddled cherries. Perfect for hot days!

Ingredients

  • 25 g of cherries pitted and halved
  • 2 oz Whiskey
  • ½ oz of fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz of fresh orange juice
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • ½ an egg white
  • 1 handful of ice cubes
  • 2-3 sprigs of mint
  • 1 slither of orange zest for garnish
  • 1 slither of lemon zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour water inside the moulds of a muffin tin at least 3 quarters of the way up. Then freeze until completely solid.

  2. Put a glass in the freezer to chill for 5 minutes.
  3. Put your pitted and halved cherries in a glass, then muddle until half broken down (don't completely mash the cherries).

  4. Take the glass out of the freezer and add one of your giant ice cube.

  5. Put your Whiskey, lemon juice, orange juice, simple syrup and egg white in a shaker, then shake without ice for a few times.

  6. Add the ice cubes, then shake again for a good 10-15 seconds.
  7. Strain into your chilled glass, garnish with your cherries, mint, orange and lemon zest.
