Here are a group of fantastic pasta recipes that I guarantee you will love. We are talking fresh pasta, cheesy pasta, seafood pasta, shredded beef, hidden veg…..The list goes on.
So, if you are a pasta fan, you have come to the right place. Some of these pasta recipes are classics with an added twist. And the rest are just pasta recipes that I developed. The last two recipes are fresh pasta recipes so keep in mind that they take some time to prepare.
We all know and love this one, but we have certainly lost touch with what a true carbonara actually is. I am sure many Italians try to tell us that cream, mushroom and chicken has nothing to do with the real carbonara. This recipe draws inspiration from the classic but has an extra added touch that I think you will like.
I thought that adding prawns to this recipe would be a great idea because they cook so quickly. So it doesn’t mess with the simplicity of Aglio e Olio. And it works so beautifully with the chilli and garlic.
Again, the crispy prosciutto was a simple addition, but a powerful one that made a wonderful transformation in flavour. Also, angel hair pasta cooks in about 4 minutes so this dish is a quickie.
Now, this is a good one for the kids. Especially if you can’t get them to eat their veggies. Just blend it into a pasta sauce and they will never know. I hope this recipe serves parents well.
A tough piece of beef slowly cooking away in the flavours of bolognese. Tender, rich, tasty melt in your mouth goodness.
If you have any leftover seafood in the freezer that you want to use up. I highly recommend that you try this recipe. The flavour that comes from seafood works so nicely with the linguini.
I have to say, this pasta recipe is a lot of fun. I made this fresh spinach pasta for St Patrick’s day but you can make it whenever you like! This is a good one to get the kids involved with. The fresh pasta is cooked, then tossed in a cheesy roux based sauce.
Another fresh pasta recipe. This recipe showed me that I do not have ravioli often enough. You can experiment with so many different fillings. This sausage and red pepper filling is wonderful. And the lemon butter sauce is such a great finish.
